The Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was inaugurated on June 12, 2014 with the participation of the Honorable President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is one of the key constituents of the innovative foundations that shape the innovative economy of our country.
The center is the main body that integrates scientific solutions, practical developments and their introduction into production, contributing to the development of human capital and the "knowledge economy", ensuring the economic and technological security of Turkmenistan.
The main task of the Center of Technology is to develop and conduct high-level scientific ideas and solutions in the competitive and competent and priority areas of our country in the field of science and technology.
The decisions of the Technology Center are made as a result of research, experimental design, experimental technology, marketing research and other collaborative work that form a unified system. It is also planned to create scientific and production departments for the rapid introduction of innovations into production.
The activities of the Technology Center will be carried out within the framework of the "National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2011-2030", the "State Program for the Development of Science in Turkmenistan for 2012-2016" approved by the Honorary President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Technology Center is comprised of research laboratories, technology deployment, design and construction, patent and information departments and other departments.
The center's laboratories carry out a set of interdisciplinary research in the field of bio-, nano-, information technologies, physico-chemical in-depth study of substances, molecular biomaterials, hydrocarbon raw materials, and other researches.
The tasks of the laboratories include the study of non-conventional sources of energy and the development of energy-saving technologies, the analysis of the environment, food, and the conduct of research on geographical information systems.
Laboratory equipment conforms to world standards, testing their software is completely computerized and various chemical combinations, alloys, gases, liquids, hard materials, chemical elements, their physical-chemical properties, structure allows you to automatically identifiable.
The results of the research carried out at the Technology Center will be used in all sectors of the economy of the country, including agriculture, medicine, pharmaceuticals, environmental issues, food, chemical, petrochemical industries. The "Council of Scientists" was established on August 1, 2014 by a decision of a meeting attended by the staff of the Center for Technology.
